'Tis no rule that rules the heart

'Tis the ego that rules the day

A struggle from almost the start

Just trying to make its way

'Tis the great I AM that cries

No rules for me, I that be

'Tis a war inside that belies

Rules were made to stifle deeds

Rules want peasants, knaves, common man

No rules for me, the Great I AM, say I go to hell

Comes in I, disrupting thee I don't give a damn

Rules I see, that speck of sand in the shell

Ah, 'tis the irritation, the nagging sensation

Inside I writhe, gainsay your rules, give me attention!
